Temporary Placement Service
The all-inclusive hourly rate covers the temporary’s wages, leave provisions, payroll tax, occupational superannuation, WorkCover levy and administration costs. Double R handles group tax and issues PAYG payment summaries. Charges are made only for each hour or part thereof worked. There are no charges for meal breaks, sick leave or public holidays. Under the provisions of the Administration Employees in Temporary Employment Services Award, on-hire employees must be engaged for a minimum of 4 hours in any given day. Under the Award, the standard working week is 38 hours broken up by 1 x 8 hour day and 4 x 7.5 hour days Monday to Friday. Overtime is calculated on a daily basis and authorised overtime will be charged as per the provisions under the Award.

On-hire employees are paid weekly and accordingly, under these Terms and Conditions, invoices are to be paid within seven (7) days of invoice date.

Temporary Guarantee
If a Double R temporary is unsatisfactory, Double R will not charge for the time worked. However, notification must be given to the Temporary Controller within the first 4 hours. The Temporary Controllers will carry out a check approximately 4 hours after commencement of each new assignment. A quality assessment survey will be sent at the conclusion of each assignment.

If a temporary employee is made permanent, a placement fee will apply. In the event that a Double R Temporary Worker or Contractor turns permanent, reduced fees may apply depending upon the length of time the Temporary or Contractor has been engaged on a present or past assignment.

Permanent Placement Service

Permanent Fee Structure
All permanent placement fees for introduction of a Candidate are an amount equal to a percentage of the gross annual starting salary only. In the event of a fixed term employment period i.e. maternity leave of less than 12 months, Double R will reduce the fee on a pro rata basis. If the successful Candidate continues beyond the original fixed term timeframe, Double R will re-invoice the difference between the original pro-rata fee and the applicable full fee.

Annual starting salary:
$15,000 to $39,999 12%
(excluding GST) $40,000 to $79,999 14%
$80,000 and above 15%

Minimum Fee – part time positions with an annual salary under $15,000 will attract a minimum fee of $1,500.

Offer of Replacement Guarantee
Double R offers a 3-month guarantee from the date the Candidate commences employment. This guarantee must be validated by payment of invoice in full within 14 days from date of issue. Invoices will be issued within the first week of employment.
